Fat solvable – A, D, E, K

Its deficiency causes Rickets(Kana) in childrens.
In adults its deficiency causes Osteomalasia.
It is essential for growth of bones and teeth.
Also known as Tocopherol.
Its deficiency causes infertility.
It helps in reproduction.
Known as Hormone vitamin, Beauty vitamin.
Known as Philloquinone.
Helps for blood clotting.
Its deficiency causes Haemophelia (X’mas disease or Royal disease).
Known as Ascorbic acid.
Available in ctrius fruits.
First artificially developed vitamin.
Known as fresh vitamin, Anti cancer vitamin.
It is not available in milk or proteins.
Its deficiency causes Scurvi (Navikarude Plague).
Scurvi affects skin.
Vitamin C lost while heating.
You can get B vitamins from proteins such as fish, poultry, meat, eggs, and dairy products.
